Garden Quilt Show
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 13, 14 and 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday
Reiman Gardens' Quilt Show encourages the art of quilting by displaying a fabulous selection of "garden themed" quilts created by talented Iowans, and provide instruction, demonstrations and inspiration for both novice and experienced quilters. The event will feature a juried show with prizes awarded by central Iowa sponsors, a vendor's marketplace offering quilt-related merchandise and fabrics, speakers and demonstrations along with quilts that exhibit floral or nature themes, which may include butterflies.
In addition to the Garden Quilt Show, visitors may enjoy the 14 acres of outdoor gardens, the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing, featuring exotic butterflies from six continents, the Conservatory and Gift Shop bursting with unique items, including sustainable jewelry, wind chimes, hand-made lotions and soaps, cookbooks, home decor and more.
