Reiman Gardens Policies
Alcohol
The consumption of beer and wine is permitted if coordinated through Reiman Gardens' in-house caterer.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in or around the Gardens. Smokers must completely leave the grounds and go to the parking lot if they choose to smoke. Smokers must not leave litter in the parking lot from this activity.
Insurance and Liability
Reiman Gardens coordinates its policies on insurance and liability through the Iowa State University office of Risk Management.

Pets
No pets are allowed in Reiman Gardens. Seeing-eye dogs are allowed on the grounds.
Minors
A parent or guardian must accompany all children. At any event involving persons 18 years of age or younger, there must be a ratio of one adult, 21 years or older, per 20 minors of the age of 18 or younger. Names and phone numbers of all chaperones must be submitted to the Gardens' facility rental department two weeks prior to the event date. Once arriving for an event, minors will be asked to stay within the facility and only exit at the time of final departure. If additional security guards are needed to uphold the Gardens' policies, the renter will pay the added expense.
Bicycles, Rollerblades and Scooters
These wheeled toys and all motorized toys and equipment are not allowed in the Gardens.
