Spirits in the Gardens
from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Scare is in the air as Reiman Gardens’ Spirits in the Gardens event returns on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to join in the spooky fun by attending in costume.
Craft and activity stations will showcase Iowa scary animals found haunting Reiman Gardens this fall. Join us for storytelling by Jerri Heid from the Ames Public Library. See raptors and owls from the Iowa State University Wildlife Care Clinic. Trick or treating, black cat scavenger hunt, pumpkin broom ball, and more activities and crafts will entertain the whole family.
Support the Iowa State University Horticulture Club’s. They’ll be selling apples, pumpkins, and apple cider.
Spirits in the Gardens is a free event for all youth under age 18. Regular admission is $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, and free to all members and Iowa State University students with ISU card. In the event of inclement weather, all activities will be moved indoors.
