Capturing the Beauty of the Gardens

Hello, everyone. My name is Janaye Clifford, and I am the Graphic Design/Communications Intern at Reiman Gardens. My duties mainly include designing print media for public events held at the Gardens. I design an identity for each individual event, including a logo, color palette and graphics. I then utilize that identity to create flyers, posters, signage and other materials needed for the event.

In addition to my design duties, I also work a lot with photography. We like to maintain a large record of photos for each part of the Garden as well as exhibits as these things are changing so rapidly. This has been the most enjoyable and interesting part of my experience. It has allowed me to explore the Gardens and watch them change. Almost every week there is something new and beautiful in bloom – the perfect subject for my photos.
