Luna Moths

Luna moths (Actias luna) are considered by some to be the most beautiful of moths. And now at Reiman Gardens, you’ll be able to see this famous beauty up close and personal.

Check out the luna moth larvae behind the display glass of the emergence window near Reiman Gardens’ front entrance. They will feed on walnut plants in their fourth and fifth instars (stage of molting), and some will have already formed their cocoons and started pupating.
