Meet Caitlynn Slaymaker the Events Management Intern

Hello! My name is Caitlynn Slaymaker, and I am the Events Intern here at Reiman Gardens! I am a senior majoring in event management with a minor in apparel merchandising here at Iowa State!

In my internship with Reiman Gardens, I work with private and public events such as weddings, graduation parties, Garden Art Fair, Spirits in the Gardens, and more! I have many different duties such as setup and tear-down, I give bridal tours to couples potentially looking to host their wedding here, and I am the on-site contact for the events! I enjoy getting to know my clients and talking with them to understand how they envision their special day or other events! I have also enjoyed assisting in planning our public events, as this gets me involved in reaching out to other vendors and members of the community!
