Art Workshop: Fall Water Media with Erna Waterman

education program with a watercolored painting of a water bird near a lake with water surrounding it

This program has been cancelled.

Saturday, August 26, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Spend the first half hour making an abstract water media project and discussing design. You will find that being happily unaware of what will happen opens up the artist in you to the pure fascination of creating art! Then, spend an hour painting pumpkins in watercolor. The focus will be value and color transitions. Photos of pumpkins will be supplied for inspiration and resource material. Use the next hour to paint sunflowers, taking the concepts of design and value further. Discover why “lost and found edges” are another secret to watercolor success! Last half hour is critique. Preregistration with prepayment is required by Thursday, August 24.
