Black Light Butterfly Roosting

Thursday, November 19, 4:40 – 5:40 p.m.

Join Nathan Brockman, Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing Curator, for a special blacklight butterfly show. Learn the science behind the way many butterfly patterns fluoresce when exposed to UV light, and view them in a new way as they clump together and begin roosting for the night.

Preregistration with prepayment is required by Tuesday, November 17. NOTE: Pandemic precautions in place.
