2017 Bonsai Show

and Sunday, October 1, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Reiman Gardens will host the Iowa Bonsai Association (IBA) Fall Show. Iowans look forward to the annual Iowa Bonsai Association show at Reiman Gardens. The public is invited to the annual Bonsai Show in conjunction with the Iowa Bonsai Association. Bonsai, an ancient East Asian art form that weds plant horticulture and art is a rapidly growing and popular passion in the West.
On Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1, the Bonsai Association and its sister club from Eastern Iowa will have a formal showing of some of the finest bonsai in Iowa.
In conjunction with the Bonsai Show, IBA docents will be available to walk visitors through the show and answer bonsai related questions. There will also be constant on-going demonstrations both days.
Bonsai styling and design demonstrations will be offered concurrent with the show. An area bonsai vendor and an IBA sales table with all related bonsai materials will be available to the public.

No preregistration required to attend the Bonsai Show. Free for members and Iowa State University students. Cost of admission for the general public is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors ages 65+, $4 for kids ages 4-17, and free for kids ages 3 and under.
