Bonsai Show
October 6, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
October 7, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Please join us at Reiman Gardens for the annual bonsai exhibit in conjunction with the Iowa Bonsai Association. Bonsai, an ancient Asian art form that weds horticulture and art, is a rapidly growing and popular passion in the west.
The Iowa Bonsai Association and its sister club from Eastern Iowa will have a formal display of some of the finest bonsai in Iowa. IBA docents will be available to walk you through the show and answer your bonsai related questions. Bonsai styling and design demonstrations will run concurrent with the show. You are invited to sit, relax and ask questions as bonsai artists work their magic. An area bonsai vendor and sales table with all related bonsai materials will be available to the public.
The theme for this year’s event is “Backyard Bonsai, Urban and Mountain Trees for Bonsai."
