Elwood’s Birthday: Free Admission for Children

On September 15, Elwood – the World's Largest Concrete Gnome – will be turning 12! As a little treat, we’re inviting his kiddo friends to visit on his special day with free admission for all children ages 0-12.  While here, stop by Elwood to snap a happy birthday selfie, and save the date for 2025 when we hope to achieve the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as gnomes! 

The  hours are 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM for the outdoor gardens, Conservatory, and Gift Shop.  The Butterfly Wing is open 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

No preregistration required. Free for members, ISU students with ID and all children (ages 0-12). Price of admission for the general public adults (ages 13+).
