Online Fall Plant Sale

Members presale September 1 – 3, sale starts at 8:00 a.m. on September 1

General public sale starts on September 4 and closes on the 14 at 12:00 p.m.

The Fall Plant Sale has ended.

Reiman Gardens is excited to announce its very first fall plant sale offered online! Choose from a huge selection of plants perfect for fall color, from mums of various sizes and colors, to ornamental pepper, ornamental kale, kalanchoes and more. An assortment of perennials will also be for sale including feather reed grass, coral bells, pollinator friendly calamint, and more. Shop assorted succulents and houseplants, as well as spring bulbs like daffodils and tulips. The tulip varieties will be the same tulips that will be featured in the 2021 tulip show at Reiman Gardens. This includes seven varieties with one as a tulip mix.

Native trees will be for sale to replace those lost by the recent derecho. Trees include white oak, sassafras, northern pecan, and more. The City of Ames has implemented a Smart Watershed Program, and they offer a native tree rebate program. Like umbrellas, trees reduce the amount of sunlight and rain reaching the ground. Trees in urban environments are particularly important for intercepting rainfall before it becomes stormwater runoff. Trees catch falling rain, filter out pollutants, and absorb stormwater. Contactless pickup will be in lot S2 from September 17 – 19. No home delivery. Bulbs available for pick up starting in early October.

All sales must be completed online.  No in-person or phone sales. Payment must be made by debit or credit card - no cash or check payments accepted. All sales are final. No substitutions can be given. Plants do not have a warranty.
