From Soil to Sky: Basic Plant Science & Garden Planning

This first class in our gardening series for beginners covers the basics of plant science – from characteristics and growth habits of different types of plants to survival needs and the relationship between plants and their environment. Director Ed Lyon will also lead attendees through the process of planning and designing a garden space and provide helpful resources for the beginner gardener. Includes a book on botany for gardeners.
Preregistration with prepayment is required by Tuesday, February 15. Limited to 20 participants.
We are able to offer this program and any associated supplies at a low cost to attendees thanks to granted funds from the Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust.
