Independence Day Fireworks
July 3 from 6:00 p.m. until the close of the fireworks
Reiman Gardens is open all day on July 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to the conclusion of the fireworks display which is across the street from the Gardens. The Young Professionals of Ames, the City of Ames and Iowa State University is excited to present the fireworks.
Enjoy the Indigo Monks who will play their music live at the Gardens.
The Iowa Youth Ballet will perform a series of short performances. At 6:30 watch Barre Warm Up near Lake Helen. Then at 6:45 watch Improvisation on the South Lawn. Lastly, at 7:00 watch a performance of "The Stars and Stripes Forever" in the Campanile Garden. These performances will repeat when the band takes a break.
Visitors may bring their folding chairs, coolers with food and drinks. No fireworks or sparklers are allowed inside the Gardens.
Reiman Gardens will also be open on July 4th, so bring your family for some fun.
If it rains on July 3, the fireworks will be moved to July 5.
No preregistration required.
Regular admission rates apply during Reiman Gardens' standard hours.
ADMISSION IS FREE FOR EVERYONE FROM 6:00 P.M. UNTIL THE END OF THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY ON JULY 3.
