Independence Day Fireworks

July 3 from 6:00 p.m. until the close of the fireworks.  (IF it rains on July 3, Ames' fireworks will be moved to July 5.  In that case, unfortunately Reiman Gardens will NOT be open late for fireworks.)

Reiman Gardens is open all day on July 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to the conclusion of the fireworks display which is across the street from the Gardens. The Young Professionals of Ames, the City of Ames and Iowa State University is excited to present the fireworks.

Visitors may bring their folding chairs, coolers with food and drinks. No fireworks or sparklers are allowed inside the Gardens.

PLEASE NOTE:  Unfortunately, due to lack of a sponsorship this year, we are unable to provide free admission to this event. Several websites and media outlets have INCORRECTLY reported that admission is free. Standard admission rates apply:

FREE for Members, ISU Students
$9 General Public Adults 13+
$8 General Public Seniors 65+
$4.50 General Public Youth 2-12
FREE for Youth under 2

Reiman Gardens will also be open on July 4th, so bring your family for some fun.
