Lawn Alternatives for Low-Impact Gardening

Limited walk-ins permitted.
Saturday, April 3, 10:30 - 11:30 AM
For over a year, most of us have been housebound and thinking about our home landscape more than ever. You might be gardening more, or maybe you’re new to the process. These days, home owners are also looking at ways to garden that will provide beautiful spaces while reducing or even improving ecological impact. Turf lawns, for example, are one of the least sustainable practices; there are more earth friendly alternatives. Join Director Ed Lyon as we examine this and other examples of low impact gardening practices - low impact on the environment, and low impact on maintenance!
Space is limited, and pre-registration is required by Thursday, April 1. Masks covering nose and mouth required.
NOTE: we will also record this program, so if you prefer not to attend in person, register for access to the recording (provided in 2-3 business days).
