Macro Photography

This is a four-week course on Tuesdays November 1, November 8, November 15, and November 29 (no class November 22) from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

This four-part workshop will cover the basics of macro photography including equipment and how to use it, depth of field, aperture, light, composition, finding your subject and "tips and tricks". Each class is broken into 3 parts: classroom discussion, hands-on practice taking pictures by the students and review of the images taken.

You will need to bring the following to each class: your DSLR camera, macro lens, and sturdy tripod. Prerequisite: Beginner Photography or instructor permission.

Preregistration with prepayment is required by Friday, October 28. Cost is $72 for members and $90 for the general public.
