Members Only Orchid Fest Reception

Friday, February 11, 5:30 – 7:30 PM

Join us for our Members Only Orchid Fest Reception! Members get first choice when shopping for orchids and can meet experts from the Iowa Orchid Society. Attendees will also get a first look at the new orchid display in the Conservatory. Enjoy an assortment of snacks including chocolates and salted peanuts. Refreshments include coffee, decaf coffee, and water.

The Gift Shop will be selling amazing origami folded by volunteers from our recent holiday display. The origami was used as colorful decoration. There are so many beautiful origami pieces including butterflies, stars, wreaths, flora and fauna, snowflakes, and various kusudama designs. So, get one or a few to take home with you! They will brighten your day! Origami sales will happen on Thursday, February 10 through Sunday, February 13 from 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM in the Gift Shop.

Free for all members to attend. RSVP’s are due by Monday, February 7 at 12:00 PM. Members must RSVP by emailing rgmembership@iastate.edu or calling 515.294.3755 to reserve a time slot at either 5:30 – 6:30 or 6:30 – 7:30. Please include your preferred time slot with your RSVP.  Reservations will be processed in the order that they are received. Popular time slots get reserved quickly. RSVP early to ensure space. This event will be capped at 500 max, so 250 attendees per hour.
