Mindfully Balanced: Mindfulness Meditation: Walking (Part 1)

Join neuroscientist and certified mindfulness instructor Crystal Jewell for an introduction to walking meditation. Learn how to meditate while walking using controlled breathing, body scanning, and indigenous walking techniques. As part 1 of 3 walking meditation classes, this will be the class with the least amount of walking and lowest impact. The intention of this first walking meditation class is to slowly familiarize individuals to the walking meditation technique.

Please dress in non-restrictive clothing and bring a yoga mat/blanket and pillow/cushion to class. Suggested pre-meditation preparation: starting 1-2 days before (longer if able), aim to eat as fresh as possible.  Registration with pre-payment is required by Thursday, July 29.
