Mindfully Balanced: Mindfulness Meditation: Seated (Part 1)

Join neuroscientist and certified mindfulness instructor Crystal Jewell for an introduction to breath awareness. Learn controlled breathing techniques (pranayama) paired with yoga postures to enter a deeper meditative state during practice. One particular breathing technique explored in this class will be used in later classes. Come as you are, everyone is welcome.

Please dress in non-restrictive clothing and bring a yoga mat/blanket and pillow/cushion to class. Suggested pre-meditation preparation: starting 1-2 days before (longer if able), aim to eat as fresh as possible. Registration with pre-payment is required by Thursday, July 8.
