Nature at Noon: Plant a Row for the Hungry at Reiman Gardens

Grab your lunch and join us at home via Zoom as we hear about the local and national Plant a Row for the Hungry initiative, where gardeners donate produce from one extra row to local food pantries and other organizations.

You'll hear from Linda Naeve, one of Story County's PAR coordinators, and also from one of the Ames recipients of donated produce, Cari McPartland of the Salvation Army. Learn how and when Story County PAR operates with the help of home gardeners, Reiman Gardens, local farmers’ markets, angel gardens, and more, and how you can get involved!  For more information – visit the PAR website: www.storypar.org.
