Origami Crane Folding with Artist Pam Douglas (drop-in)

Join in a special crane folding program with artist Pamela S. Douglas any time between 12:00-3:00 PM. You will also be able to view the recently installed 6300+-crane Garden Room Gallery exhibit Folding Cranes, Enfolding Community. This traveling exhibit is an Iowa COVID-19 Memorial to all Iowans who have tragically died from this virus since March 24, 2020. The exhibit also offers an opportunity for Ames and its surrounding communities to come together as we reflect upon Iowa’s pandemic experience. Pam will demonstrate and teach visitors how to fold paper cranes with origami paper (provided).

Pre-registration is highly encouraged by Thursday, October 21.
