Quilted Game Board Workshop
2-week program beginning Wednesday, February 6, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Bring your sewing machine to the Gardens and learn from fabric artist Judy Lemish how to create your own fabric game board for checkers and backgammon. Select from a variety of floral and nature patterned scrap fabric (or bring your own), repurpose river stones as game pieces, and quilt it up into a reversible bag you can tie closed for gaming on the go. We have 3 sewing machines to share; students are encouraged to bring their own. Suitable for beginner – intermediate sewists. Preregistration with prepayment is required by Monday, February 4.
