STEAM Workshop: Water from the Ground Up

This program has been cancelled.

Saturday, May 20, 10:00 – 12:00 a.m.

Much of the water we use and drink comes from the ground… but what does that mean? How does the ground “store” water? And how do we get to it? And how do the things we do in our daily lives – from making lunch to riding in the car to mowing the lawn – affect that water? Join celebrated Geological and Atmospheric Science Professor Cinzia Cervato to play with 3D models and dirt to discover why water in the ground matters and how we can affect it. Best suited to ages 8 – 16. Preregistration with prepayment is required by Thursday, May 18.
