2-week program on Sundays, May 14 & 21, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Make a fiber landscape wall hanging from wool roving, with fiber artist and instructor, Betty Chamness Trost. This extraordinary art form involves building up flat layers of colorful wool, and adding various yarn scraps, open weave fabric, or other embellishments, all before wetting the entire piece and letting it sit for a week to flatten and shrink. Return to give the work some final touches, and leave with a gorgeous nature-inspired landscape painting made from natural fibers. All materials provided. Preregistration with payment is required by Friday, May 5.
