Learn how to assemble a holiday wreath with Reiman Gardens' Horticulturist, Ed Moran. Ed will guide you through the steps to use evergreens, specialty greens, and other materials to create your own seasonal decoration for your home! All materials included.

Registration with prepayment is required by Thursday, November 17.

Are you a crafty person? Do you like to sip fun and fruity drinks? Well come to Reiman Gardens to enjoy Maker Mocktails! This December, learn how to make a non-alcoholic Holiday Spritzer with Reiman Gardens’ staff in this after hours program and then take the recipe home so you can make it a true cocktail with your own alcohol. Then we will wrap up the night by putting together a holiday tree made out of pinecones!

Preregistration with prepayment is required by Monday, December 19.

Mondays beginning October 3, 6:30 – 8:30 PM for four weeks

Join Creative Department artist Yvonne Brune for a 4-week mixed watercolor course exploring the beauty of the Gardens. Sketch butterflies, flowers, or plants, and learn skills and build techniques with watercolor paints. Whether you're new to watercolor, or have painted for years, all experience levels are welcome! Classes will be outdoors as well as indoors – please come prepared.

Then we will wrap up the night by creating a beautiful cornhusk wreath, to better celebrate Thanksgiving with!

Join Sandi Risdal, the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa, as she talks about finding that thing we all seek: “home.” Hear about Sandi’s 15 year tenure as director the affiliate and how she has worked to complete over 65 homes. Bring your lunch and attend each month to experience a new topic presented by local and regional professionals connected to this year’s theme “Home.”
