With sweeping views of the Gardens out floor to ceiling windows, the Speer Room is often considered one of the most beautiful rooms in Iowa. Rental of the Speer Room gives you access to not only the Speer Room itself, but the Lobby in the Mahlstede Building, outdoor South Patio, and the small kitchenette located adjacent to the room.

Your Tailgate will be held in the Speer Room and South Patio. Below is a typical room set-up.

Included with your rental:

• Standard Set-up which seats 48 people and allows for up to 100 people at a standing reception
• Set-up of any additional tables and chairs
• Use of the South Patio located just outside the Speer Room
• Wireless internet

Items available for no additional costs:

• Projection Screen
• Two-tier table for computer and projector
• Podium

Items available for additional costs:

• Outdoor Chairs and other furniture – arrangements can be made with an outside vendor to set-up furniture in your tailgate location
• Tents – arrangements can be made with an outside vendor to set-up a tent on the South Patio (The RG tent set-up fee will be waived for all tailgate packages)
• Projector – $50
