With one of the most intensive, cross-dimensional programs at ISU and in the public gardens field, Reiman Gardens' interns go on to become experts and leaders in their chosen fields. There are opportunities for experience in event management, education, entomology, marketing, volunteer engagement, plant collections, and of course, a variety of facets of horticulture - from landscaping and design to irrigation and community/edible gardening.
Reiman Gardens at Iowa State University is seeking a motivated and reliable Groundskeeper I to join our horticulture team. This position plays a key role in maintaining over 7 acres of various lawn areas, including formal event spaces, native and low-mow turf alternatives, and garden buffer zones. The ideal candidate will have experience in grounds maintenance, irrigation, and turf care, preferably in settings such as public gardens, golf courses, or parks.
